Work Rules

Students with a Student Pass are NOT permitted to work during regular academic weeks. Part-time work of up to 20 hours per week is only allowed during semester breaks of 7 or more days. Work is limited to specific sectors such as restaurants, petrol kiosks, mini-markets, and hotels. A separate work authorization from the Immigration Department (via the educational institution) is required.
