Degree students can work an average of up to 30 hours per week (measured as an annual average). Full-time work is permitted during holidays as long as the annual average does not exceed 30 hours. Internships and thesis work included in the degree are exempt from this limit. A personal identity code (henkilötunnus) is required for employment. Finnish language skills significantly improve job prospects.
